It is used for synchronization with other computing resources (e.g coprocessor). Description The state of the CPU is frozen, waiting for synchronization with an external event. The CPU clock also is stopped, reducing the power consumption of the microcontroller. Interrupt requests during this period are served normally, depending on the CC.I[1:0] value.
