Continuous Measurement Mode

– CONT

The A/D conversion is sequentially performed. The first conversion starts by setting the bit OSR:SS

‚1‘. If the Power Down or Standby option is switched on, the device deactivates it and initializes the

continuous measurement. The measurement can only be stopped by resetting the bit OSR:SS bit.

The conversion time (TCONV) is determined by the content of the register CREG1:TIME (see Figure

48). The rising edge of READY signalizes the end of each conversion and its available valid results

Figure 48 shows the principle sequence for a measurement start in CONT mode, while waiting in
